Shot my 1st USPSA match in 3 months-video
This is stage 1 of the match. My first time shooting since February.
I was rusty and the mistakes are plentiful. There is one popper I shot 8 times that never dropped & you can see me talking to the RO. that is all time down the drain.
I was waiting to long to engage after moving shooting positions (not shooting on the move when I could).
I finished this stage 18 of 53 shooters, this was a stage that actually really favored my strengths so I should have really burned it down if I wasn’t rusty.
Anyway- good to be back in the game, though my hopes of USPSA nationals are really looking like a long shot now.
Also- I took an UBER to the match, yet I wasn’t awarded any bonus points for style- with the baby blue Lincoln Town Car...

We had the same starts to our seasons, Warbirds!
I went and shot our local defensive pistol match the Saturday before last and pretty well stunk the place up.
We'd had a 6 month layoff due to 5 months of snow on the range and then a month for the Covid.3 -
