Has there been two give a ways running at the same time by the same man. At least not that I know of. :)  Well here is # 2 and it's right purty.     After departing Seattle she will be doing temporary duty aboard the ice breaker Polar Star WAGB-10 in transit to mc murdo station to do research and participate in Polar Trek and op deep freeze and will stop at Vallejo on the way to Antarctica..

    Boarding party and away team security during treaty inspection duties and resupply missions - national security missions and science missions...

    I hear there are a series of kill houses and shooting galleries set up and that heavy intense competitive training and competition takes place - using airsoft and paintball while putting in real trigger time on indoor ranges and a 3 gun small vessel assault course...

    Those on the sharp end keep the edge honed is the catch phrase I keep hearing...

    All kidding aside Mike, Mckenzie has my RESPECT. I contemplated going in to the USCG, when entering Service in 1979.

    To be considered for McMurdo Station, is impressive in itself.
