I can't speak to real estate listings but in most states finding the name of a property owner is usually fairly easy.

Have you ever seen their signature.. as on any document online with a listing?

You can find out the owner of a property online very easily through property tax records.

You both are missing the point... I have an LLC and yes it would show in the tax records and then an LLC search and bingo .. the registered agent. Maybe if that is who owns the property. However the Realtor used my name and LLC without permission and my personal signature on a document and published on the web. She provided that information for the public. If it was not a big deal she would not have removed it. Now go online and find a home advertised by any realtor that has the owners name or LLC published.

I'm guessing that you never heard of "home title fraud".
What you have described sounds to me like the circumstances that permit this type fraud.  With the internet, postings are forever.  Be very afraid.

That is unheard of.  You have hired a nutcase for a realtor.

I called a friend of mine whi has been in reality for years and she stated , NO, you don’t post any info on the seller in any listing that goes in a public media outlet.

Well I sent my real estate attorney a note of what happened and ask him to type up a complaint to the SC realty commission. He won't get involved with realtors since he works with them all time. Advised me to do it myself and contact the brokers boss. Well I have an appointment with another Realtor Weds to list the properties and will contact the headquarters of the one I currently have and advise them what happened.  Putting them on notice for possible identity theft thru the State Realty Commission . As Trump says...YOU Are Fired

I am glad you are firing them. 2 strikes and you are most definitely out. (For someone I am paying.)

When selling my house up North about 9 years ago, I had an instance where I was seriously angry with my Realtor towards the end of the sale and had a "Come to Jesus," meeting with the Broker threatening legal action. Amazing how things came together after that.

Someone posting personal information, and my signature? Yeah, I'd be pretty angry.

I've never seen that kind of paperwork listed in an ad, nor should it be. Very strange.  Those docs get shown to interested parties if they ask for it, and only if they are seriously considering making an offer.

You say "My Realtor"?  What's your past experienced with her?  Doesn't sound up & up to me.  Something fishy here.

Well you dumb sh t!!??  Go local and ask some of the "locals" who they use.   I've been using the same 2 realtors for many years now with "an understanding" we agree upon.  They will negotiate.
