farm product prices
have not had live stock in over 18 years went with a buddy to the local weekend farm products auction hay.chickens ect he want to get some piggies ,,,8/9 week old piglets 90.00 last fall 3rd hay alfalfa grass mix nice 11.90 bale crap hay 3.90-5.00.... farm fresh eggs 3.00 dz rabbits 22.00 saw a turkey sell for 125.00 !! all selling like hotcakes we got 5 piggies for the 90.00 ea

Yep, around here you can get poultry and swine cheap. Eggs around $1 per D. Beef is up however.Chief Shaway said:I’d think so too.

Someone paying $125 for a turkey. WOW If I had seen that with my own eyes I would wonder which one was the turkey, the buyer or the bird.3 -
I feel better now. Those prices looked high to me. I couldn't ever see myself paying $125/turkey let alone $11.90/bale of hay. But maybe that's for a small number of bales. We use 400 bales a month at $3.90/bale for alfalfa and good grass delivered and unloaded.
