Your government knows what’s best for you. Be a good subject and do what they say.

I have. But then I’m only about 4-5 miles from the Indiana line in Michigan. So one of grocery store my wife likes, the meat market I like and the pool store are all out of state.

I have gone to Kalif to work on a rental. They can stick the quarantine where the sun don't shine.

I live in PA and I go to WV any time I choose. I never realized there was any restrictions. Now Hawaii, they're tough. They make all their $ from tourism you might as well say. If you show up there, it's 14 days and they keep track. My son's resort is shut down till September, he's told, and he wants to go to Colorado. But he changed his mind when he faced all of the restrictions when he returns.

You should probably educate yourself as to why the quarantine is useful before making naive comments.

In the old days they quarantined the sick and not the healthy. I would have loved to watch someone in the government telling my great grandparents and their neighbors that they were going to be put in jail if they didn't hide out in their homes like a bunch of cowards.  :D

We are told the quarantine was/is useful. Common sense suggests it should have helped, but statistics are suggest that it is legitimate to question how much it helped and if it will help going forward.

What difference does it make if I am not sick and don’t come in contact with anyone who is?

I leave my state all the time.  I go to WV and KY on a regular basis for my job.  I do not wear a mask.  Hand washing with sanitizer is done after each visit.  My home is about 6 miles from the Ohio River so going to WV and KY are all normal activities.

I traveled in early March to the UK for five days, came back and self quarantined away from my family for 14 days and then was tested. That was also before the stay at home orders came out. I was concerned for Italy in late February, but we now have the most active cases and deaths here in the US, because we didn't act quickly enough to control the spread.

Really? Wow, says who? Joe Biden? That's rich. And how did you get a bakery going in a month when the DPH has shut all businesses down? And you got a license from the health department?.  And feeding school kids.? You are amazing! The only thing I got to do was hand the lunches from the outside of the school in the parking lot while the certified school food people stayed inside making them.

I am going to take a road trip to KY Monday for a haircut. The fat pig governor is still overstepping his shadow and has kept salons empty. This state is the Midwest answer to the least and left coast. Prickster is being challenged on all fronts and the big pig is stuck in is own wallow. The left is going to be eating their own puke come November and I for one am elated.

I drive truck for a living , so I've been working thru all of this ,  I do 2 Dedicated runs out of central Wi into neighboring states , so if I'm doing the day run it's leaving central WI early AM going to western MN and returning ,, I do 4 of those in a row and then get 2 days off and  switch to the night run which leaves WI early evening and goes down thru Chicago into western IN and returns next morning  . 4 of those in a row and then switch back to the day run ,, Average 3000 miles aweek,  figure this is week 20 so that's about 60,000 miles so far this year >>  so yup been out of state just a little

I live about 1 mile from the TN state line, cross it anytime I like. Made a trip a few weeks ago and crossed 3 state lines coming and going, farm supplies and equipment, figured I would get shot or at least some dirty looks, nope not once. Even passed through 84's back yard in the process.

The Arkansas border is about 15 miles away. We go back and forth all the time.

And you can stick you're comments in the same place as you have no idea what you are talking about.

I went to Tennessee from Florida last week and back. My wife and I already had the virus and did the quarantine and was released by the Health Department so we did not quarantine again.

During the quarantine? State orders here in MT is that if you leave the state for non work related travel you need to self quarantine for 14 days. I have been Jones to our cabin that is about 40 miles over the Idaho boarder. It is so dumb I come in contact with over 2000 people a day at work but if I go to the cabin in what I would come in contact with no one but my family that I live under the same roof with I can’t.

Just do it ! they are not going to eat you!

we pretty much stayed here, since we are so busy with work. We wanted to go to Delaware, to buy a new mower and visit my niece, But Delaware is not allowing any out of state people to visit. If you get caught , you have to quarantine for 14 days. WTF. Their beaches are only open for residents only. NJ beaches open tomorrow, and already you see, NY, PA, Delaware, and other states down there. on vacations. If you own a house there, you have a right to be there. Same should go for other states.

Hell yesterday I went out of the city for the first time in two months. Me and the Mrs. took a road trip to our favorite  restaurant & bar 130 miles away. Left around 12:30 and were back at 8:00 pm.
