mine are rosewood and are on a 13-3
The rosewood looks nice in contrast to the Smith bluing - and it's like a mid sized car suddenly became a full sized land yacht - completely changed the dimensions and balance and appearance of the gun...
I have a set of epoxy resin injected stabilized crotch wood birds eye maple that are ridiculous - they are worth more than I paid for the gun and holster / belt rig.
Awful pretty - but a wee bit pretentious and a status broadcast or money dog whistle.
Tell is more about your furniture / the new stocks.

If I recall full retail on the full size premium exotic hardwood monogrjps started around $80.00 to $120.00 with certain limited specialty custom examples coming close to the $200.00 Mark...
I desire African bubinga and ebony - Honduran mahogany - old growth redwood or sequoia...
Rose bush root ball - any burl or abhorrent growth mirror cross section or crotch wood...
And even some of the rainbow multi color clashing tones laminated appeal to me...
Giraffe neck bone and gastrolith seem to be hot right now as well as mastodon ivory or narwhal horn or elephant seal tusk...
I know an bit of a nice and well off guy who's a bit of a doofous - not quite fully tocked but an overzealous blowhard who's attempts at low key flexing of social status and wealth flaunting often backfire...
He paid approx 3 bills for coprolite grips for his Kimber .45...
Then people began loving telling him and those around him that he paid major ducats to bolt Dino poo onto his pistol - how he was always carrying a load in his pants.
He also once was sold a bespoke exotic gentleman's cane that we had to explain to him what it was made from...
It was made from a dolphin joystick...
He thought it was like manta ray skin on CSA officers sword handles - bit it turned out he was always going to town when he had not cane - oh the never ending quips and quibbles...

Nice pics and grips....I don't have a S&W.....but I do have a Taurus .357 snub-nose.........hahaha......I am not spending money on nice grips for it. 0
