More on my $1000.00 VAN
After extensive testing it has been determined that my $1000.00 van will expend it's entire 31 gallons of fuel in exactly 459.6 miles.

Fuel gauge have an issue or did you run it empty for shiggles?

thats about 15mpg sounds about right 0 -
Well most gm vehicles from say 2007 back a ways have an issue with gauge clusters and mine are a bit inconsistent but that is no excuse. I remember looking at the gauge thinking I need gas but it read full and I accepted it figuring I had filled up the night before which is my custom and forgotten. I should have taken the trouble to have consulted my trip millage which I reset every time I fill up. An hour lost on the shoulder of US Highway 40 and $80.00 is still a cheap lesson I guess. That's the way I have decided to look at it anyway.
