    MSRP is 649.99  I got in touch with local shop I usually do transfers with and they didn't have any but could get me one for 680 plus tax.  I looked for weeks to find a .40 online and everyone was sold out. Then two dealers listed on GB and had 5 each.  I have a Vortex red dot to install on it.

    should be nice , I thought of going that way but the only 40 I have is a Sig P250 and no way those mags would work , so seeing I all ready have a Ruger SR9c,  I went with the 9

    I've had one for a while.  Put a Nikon 1 to 4X on it.  I'm not much into going crazy with the aftermarket stuff, but MCARBO has a few worthwhile items.  I bought the trigger and mag release.  I also switched out the safety for a 10/22 oversized left hand version.  Much as I'd like the MidWest forend, it's a bit pricey for me.

    That there is one of them assault weapons. I can tell cause it's black and it's got one of them high capacity thingy's sticking out of the bottom of it. That's scary!

    I LOVE my 9mm set up for 17 and 33-round GLOCK mags. I painted the front sight white and then orange with Testors model paint to make it stand out. It shoots so well I don't want to red-dot it. Let us know how it shoots!

    The original PC4 old model was used by Police depts. as an entry weapon or longer range than their matching .40 sidearms..most likely 4" autos. However sending that .40 down the barrel of a 16" rifle increases the velocity making it scream out at a 10mm handgun rate rendering it a hunting weapon for deer or hogs.. along with making it an excellent home defense or close range defense weapon.

    You are welcome. I shot a 140# doe a few yrs back with my .40 Springfield 5" XD  with a 155gr Underwood pill at 40 yd.   It dropped like a rock.  Distance is what has to be controlled .. if the game is too far away let it go.  Most likely no shots over 100 yd.  Easy shot with a red dot bullet placement.  Some of the deep penetrating ammo might be a little greater.  This may be a great non recoil rifle for my Wife to also use for deer. Remember deer in SC are not huge.

    I use mine as a yard gun some times.,,,,Cattle on two or three sides of the fence at times so I do not want to use a .223  or
    anything bigger....a .22LR will work but a well place 9mm does a number on a yote..DRT

    I cleaned out Walmart of all .40 when they quit selling handgun ammo. Went in to get something else and filled up a cart with it. Was 70% off. No limit. I bought it all .

    "Why" and "need" are never valid arguments against something when it comes to vehicles or guns.
    Why do you need 300 HP when 90 HP will get you there. Why do you need a 4x4 pickup with V8 and leather interior over a 2 door economy car? 


    Reasons for a pistol caliber carbine:
    Fun to shoot.
    Easier to shoot more accurately than a handgun.
    Good gun for new shooters.
    Good gun for shooters with disabilities - arthritis, etc.


    Given the choice though, I will grab a rifle in a rifle caliber over a rifle in a pistol caliber.
