FFL Question
Y'all do record weapons when they are sold and ready for pick up by UPS? Or have any of you sold a weapon that is not in the store or your possession ??? Advertised a firearm you don't have and taken payment ??

I have never listed a firearm I do not have in my possession. I log guns out after they have shipped. 0 -
Ricci , My reasoning also. I deleted the link where I purchased. However that seller advertised on another gun site after I purchased and of course for less..$30... I sent an email to them from the other site and they replied they do not have it at this time. UPS says label is ready and was to be delivered today. UPS has not picked up firearm. Called two days ago and they said gun was in their possession. Waiting one more day just to see if it comes but don't expect it. Feedback has 9 others who did not get firearms after buying. I would think that after payment the FFL should have a time limit to record a firearm I purchased ? 0 -
Select - the same kinda thing happened to me couple of years ago here on GB. A Ruger 77 in odd caliber I did not have at that time. Purchased, paid and waited. After couple of weeks of not receiving it, I called the seller and he said it was a relisting that he had never received payment on from the first guy but had sent the gun to the first guy (yeah, right) and had not received the gun back. Then he had the balls to give me negative feedback for giving him an F and describing what he had done. He eventually sent me a refund and acknowledged he screwed up on his feedback but still gave the same bullcrap reason. I had got it at a very very good price and he just didn't want to let it go. 0 -
This one went on the American Express and it has been paid. I love AE.. they don't screw around if something goes haywire they refund. Called my receiving FFL no gun. 0 -
