Late winter there was a flying squirrel on your sun flower feeder late one night!  Never saw one before.  Not much bigger than a chipmunk with really BIG eyes.

<3 Beautiful!  You are a lucky boy Beneteau, I have yet to see my first.  I did see my first painted bunting this year.  Suprub photo too if that is yours.

I saw my first red breasted Grosbeak two springs ago.  Saw him several times over 3 or 4 days, than a few days later saw one of the other Grosbeaks (Sorry, to lazy to get up and get my bird book!) than last spring we saw the red breasted Grosbeak again, and again a week or so later this other Grosbeak.  Didn't see either Grosbeak this spring.

You have leaves! Woke to snow covering this morning. My wife feeds everything with feathers. Spring is busy sandhill cranes, geese, wood ducks by the dozen it is a zoo here now.

We are lucky because they are regulars every year at our feeders. Some years we have a half dozen pairs. The females are a mostly brown color with darker stripes on their head. Mostly consume sunflower seeds but occasionally suet and also raid the Orioles jelly feeders. This bird feeding is costing a small fortune but it is definitely worth it. Bob

Saw what I believe was a rough-leg hawk the other day, pretty uncommon for here at this time of year. Hard to tell with their many color variations, but it definitely was not the usual red-tail, and it was a buteo.
I put bird seed out this year, but not one bird sprouted.

After that last post, I saw the first confirmed bird at my new feeder, a lazuli bunting. What a great start!

Red-breasted Grosbeak.  Loves those sun-flower seeds.  Not often we see one of these.

We had two pairs last year. I'm pretty sure one pair raised two broods. So far this year one male has shown up. Michigan's Thumb.
