    It's almost as if their military is run by the folks from Looney Tunes!  Admiral Daffy and Captain Wylie done screwed themselves again.   I feel bad for the poor schmucks that were on the unintentional target.  Dang!

    What if they were trying to show a little resolve when they shot down an airliner, then realized from the backlash that it wasn't going to be tolerated, then colored it a mistake, then decided to sacrifice some navy personnel of their own in order to reinforce the suggestion that there was an issue with the training of their missile personnel?

    What they're doing is spinning the last bumble i.e. the shootdown of the airliner.  You don't know who was on that boat; could have been prisoners or something.

    I do not see a problem here at all.  If Iranian vessels each shoot at least one of the Iranian Navy's other boats, ships, transports or garbage scows it will save the US tax payer a lot of money in the long run.

    Well here we are in Conspiracy Central again. There is no topic you folks can't turn into some kind of nefarious plot.
    Here we have a target-towing ship that was mistakenly identified as the target, not as the tow. An egregious mistake, and someone or three is going to meet Allah for it, but it was just a mistake.
