scope adjustments
I have a scope with 1/4 adjustments for 100 yds. How many clicks would I have to move the adj. to move the point of impact 1 inch for 200 yds, 300yds, 400yds, 500yds and 600yds?

Moving the POI one inch = 2 clicks at 200 yds., 1 1/2 clicks at 300, 1 click at 400, 4/5ths of a click at 500, 3/4ths of a click at 600. Slight problem. 0 -
The adjustments are "linear" in multiples of range. 1/4" @ 100 = 1/2" @ 200 = 3/4" @ 300 or the reverse 1/4" @ 100 = 1/8" @ 50 0 -
I hate word questions for math (I tend to read too much in to it). If it's 1/4 (is that inches?) adjustment per 100 yards so it should be 4 clicks to get 1", at 200 yards be 8 clicks and so on if no cross wind or "no" gravity is at play. 0 -
The further the target, the fewer clicks it takes to get one inch of movement. I believe my previous post is accurate. 4 clicks at 100, 2 clicks at 200, 1 click at 400 each move the POI one inch. 0
