My new ride
A couple of months ago my best friend was here in the office and he told me he had decided to buy a new car and wanted to sell his van and wanted $1000.00 for it I told him the van was worth much more but he insisted the first $1000.00 took her home. I wrote him a check and was the proud owner of a 1999 Chevy conversation van with 5.7 v8, posi rear end, and only 109 thousand miles. My bud was the second owner and I got the owner's manual and all the service records. Van was almost $35,000 in 1999. It's a high top conversation with tv, vcr, and a really nice interior. Everything is in great shape and except for 16 mpg I love it. She rides and drives great, though not the best handling thing in the corners.<P>
Saturday I had a flat with one of the Cooper tires and installed the brand new 21 rear old Michelin spare. Well there was maybe another 10,000 miles left on the coopers and they weren't bad tires, but I called my favorite tire shop and set up an appointment for a set of Michelins. $750.00 and I was on my way with a new set of Defenders and let me tell you it was worth every penny. The old girl settled down and handles soooo much better. She rides like a new Caddy. She burned not quite a quart of Mobile One in 7000 miles and I can live with that. I like good used cars that are paid for.

Well get a painter to put your company logo on the side of it and write it off on taxes as a business expense. 0 -
1999 Van0 -
Bought one new in 1999. With four kids involved in multiple activities and a hankering to travel it was wonderful. Four captains chairs and a bench in the back insured no one was touching. TV and VCR insured hours of entertainment. AC/heat was the type in airplanes so kids had rotating overhead air vents. Loved it.
