Covid Parties

While state health officials now seem to be walking back the report of a couple of days ago, such parties, in the face of potential mandated anti-body tests for working papers, may make a lot of sense.
The power that some governors seem to want to retain is generating talk of mandated testing, tracing, and the issuance of permission slips to re-join society. If that is the case, having the anti-bodies, even if they do not do any long term good, will at least take some power from the state.
Not sure that I am 100% in support of such things, but I remember talk of attending measles and/or chicken pox parties as a lag. I am 100% in support of people taken steps to immunize themselves if they feel it necessary in the face of the draconian imposition of direct control of individual behavior we are seeing today. Obviously they have the responsibility to take steps to ensure that if they do become infected that they do not pass it to someone who does not wish to be infected.

I had both about two years apart. I'm told that I almost didn't survive the Measles. That was the sickest that I have ever been, and cannot imagine a parent exposing their children to it. 0 -
I don't remember going to a measles or pox party, kimi, and my folks never confirmed or denied that they brought me to one. I have yet to figure out what your governor is going to do going forward. He is demanding that Spokane County remain in a lock-down mode, but has yet to figure out whether we will be treated differently by the State than will King County, something that should not even be a consideration, IMO. I still work part time in Spokane County, if the little tyrant starts mandating testing, I would seriously consider going to a Covid Party if I tested negative for antibodies.
His name would be at the top of my list for contact tracing as well once I tested positive, as would Senators Murray and Cantwell, Representative McMorris-Rogers, Governor Little of Idaho, Drs. Fauci and Birx, President Trump, and any other political control freak that crossed my mind at the time.0 -
I see these folks walking outside with masks on (alone mind you). And I'm thinking dude you're out side. Unless you start tongue kissing passer bys you got a better chance getting struck by lightning than catch this COVID. I put mine on as I enter shops. Take them off after exiting the shops. Oh that's another thing, folks driving with masks on and they're by themselves. It's like them donning condoms on themselves or their toys as they masturbate. 0 -
Saw a dude walking down the major highway bypass today . Yep , you guessed it he was wearing a mask .

Back in the Fifties, I remember young girls being taken to the house of a kid with German measles. Apparently if young pregnant women came down with the German measles, it damaged her fetus, and caused birth defects. 0
