What US said. There is  Lowe's hardware near here, they did two days in a row of business over a million dollars for each day. Mostly handy man stuff. Damdemic gave the "man" of the house time catch up on some of the things he kept telling he wife "he would get to it when he had time".

All those "stay at homers" are using their free time to upgrade their yards. The home improvement retailers are selling outdoor and yard equipment/tools like hotcakes.

Called two Farm and Ranch stores yesterday, looking for garden seeds.
One had no Garden seeds  and no stock salt at all and did not know when they would get a re-stock. What's up with no salt, are the mines closed?
The other only had some Yellow squash seeds, No Okra.
Talked to a Lowes employee few days ago and he indicated that the business at Lowes is currently about 3 times the previous when it was normal, before the Copvid hit.

Our local BigR became a Stock & Field back in December and started having issues with inventory right away. Last week the only thing they had I was after was dog food. No small critter hay, no g-pig or parrot food, and almost no cat food at all.

Friend of mine owns a greenhouse.  He told me that On May 1 his opening day he sold $10000 more than on any opening day in the past,  and the second day was even better!  I think it shows what people are doing,  planting gardens etc.
