I done good (accidently thrice)
Couple years back I bought a Vortex Precision Cantilever Mount for my AR15 but turned out to be kind a big for it. So it got kicked up to the "MATEN" build (AR10). I paid $100 then second hand and it seemed to be new. Seeing them running close to $300 I got lucky (first).
Didn't know they made them in 0-M.O.A. and 20-M.O.A. degrees built in to the mount. It seems mine is the 20-M.O.A. version (luck struck twice). Glad they stamped which one under the clampy side otherwise I would've had difficulties. So with my new Gen 1 Vortex Viper PST 6-24X50 EBR-C2 in MRAD I will be able to use the full range of the scope. I just have to set my zero at 200 or 300 (that's gonna be interesting).
Lucked upon a post on the M1A forum about euro optics having a sale on Vortex demo scopes and I had enough sense to look for other scopes on sale where I found mine. For $10 more I got the new one (three times lucky).
Now I just hope I can get this MRAD thing without taking off my shoes and socks. M.O.A. being so easy I can use one hand and have one extra finger to spare. But that scope was $50 more. That's a lot of Top Ramen and Vienna sausages (not that I can find either these days).

Give away? People still do that? How about my friendship? In my best Brando imitation (okay more like Dom DeLuise). 0 -
Anyone who knows and uses the word "thrice" is excused from puerile demands. 0 -
Euro Optics has some really good prices on Leupold scopes. I bought VX-R 1.5-5x33 Scout scope from them. Haven't mounted it yet though.
Was planning on putting it on my Ruger Scout Rifle. However, I have Savage building a me a Left Hand 110 Scout Rifle and plan to put it on there. Will compare the 2 rifles probably relist the Ruger.
