Two 1 1/2" center cut pork chops. Large pyrex baking dish. A large package of cheddar/broccoli/brown rice blend. About a tablespoon of powdered Chicken bullion. 2 cups water. EVOO on bottom of dish. Several pats (4-5 thin slices.) of butter, salt/pepper. Lay the two pork chops on top. Salt/pepper, a smear of Tsangs Szecheuan spicy sauce on each one. 350° for 1/2 hour, monitor it for more cooking beyond the initial 30 minutes. Probably another 20-30.
Mmnnn................good.

Sounds good Ken. Another time ya might try taking those two bone in center cuts, marinate them in light brown sugar and teriyaki sauce all day then toss ‘em on the grill until they’re about 140*. Turn once. Man are they good!

Sorry Chris. Boneless. While Buddy loves the bone in chops, I do not like purchasing bone in meat. Waste of money. Price it out. T bone? No, Ribeye. NY strip Etc.
Chops on the grill, are the best. My outdoor grill has been seriously neglected. Hence the Baking/Pyrex dish.
Good to see you posting Brother.
Hope you are having a good day.

Grilled chops is where it is at, IMO. A little garlic salt and pepper rubbed prior to grilling. Med/Low heat, 3 - 5 minutes a side depending upon thickness. A light brown on the outside and a light juicy pink on the inside.
Goes well with beer.
But so does about anything.0 -
Added slivered carrots onto the rice. (Around the chops.) About 1/2 way through. Put it back in for another 30 minutes.

Okay "thrice". Might wanna get rice for that. As for bone in that's where the fun is at. Being single one can get a good gnaw on. Also if you're poor/cheap like me you can use the bone to make soup for that meal. Before or after you gnaw on it first. 0 -
Turkey breast recipe:Slice turkey across the grain 1/8/-1/4" thick. Hammer the meat out with a flat meat hammer. Spread whipped cream cheese on the meat. Add banana peppers, mild, med or hot (see note). Roll the turkey breast, cheese, pepper combo up. Wrap the roll in a hunk of bacon, pepper bacon is best. Place a tooth pick through it to hold bacon. Place on cookie sheet in 350 degree oven for 15-20 min, until you see bacon starting to brown. Turn them over and bake an additional 10-15 minutes.Remove from oven and chow-down.
NOTE: when using hot pepper slices they get very mild when baked in this recipe.LEGAL DISCLAIMER: If you do not remove the tooth pick before consuming you are a moron and deserve to choke.
