It was different back in the '50s. A friend, who was 8, was pulled over late one night. When asked why he was driving a car, the friend told the cop that he was driving his father & uncle home because they were drunk. Sure enough, the pair were passed out in the back seat. The cop said that he wasn't driving badly; he only pulled him over because he couldn't see anyone behind the wheel. Well, he was only a few blocks from home so the cop let him continue, while following him. The real funny part was the cop taking off when mom came out of the house. 3
