new e-mail provider

My wife wants an e-mail account and doesn't have a provider.  It's been 30 years since I signed up with prodigy.net. How does she get signed up with gmail or someone?

  You can just go to google or yahoo's main page and click on the mail icon at the top of the page and sign up.

  Thanks Smitty500mag .  My wife doesn't have a computer just an iPhone.  I assume that the setup must be done on her iPhone - right?

  Anywhere you can access the websites should work whether it's on the phone or a computer.
