    Only useful as a full-auto.......otherwise its a novelty. Don't get me wrong.......it is way cool but not for $8500. If I am going to fight it out with an OPFOR.......I would rather have a couple M4's with a shitload of ammo and an FN-FAL with same.

    I could go on and explain it to you farther but I kinda figured someone that collected limited edition cars would know better. The small production run they had is over, these are the last few on the market, it sat in the store for a couple years(ordered it for a guy that backed out, local economy then tanked) and didn't sell so now it is going on here, which we are getting a premium on since we sat on it so long.

    It's cool, yes.  The full auto ones the military gets are like 1/2 the price too.  It's kind of an investment piece, used ones are selling for what you could have bought new one for a year ago.  Kind of like the SCAR rifles, also by FN, everything about them is perceived to be high end top of the line, like SCARs having a barrel life of 27000 rounds compared to like 8000ish on a normal AR15.  This thing basically will have an unlimited barrel life in semi auto I was told by the Manufacturer reps.

    That's the way I looked at it too.   Cool, and may be an investment that will grow but not of any real value to me as a weapon.   If one had deep pockets it would be nice to have just to let people shoot and handle.  No doubt it will sell well.
