a texas company GREFFEX claims to have developed a vaccine for CV and is ready to move to animal testing phase.....OK..well and good ..if ...BUT their statement out of the chute is the will give it FREE to the rest of the world...?????????????????????????...

Letting the patent be used for free to manufacture a vaccine would allow the vaccine to be placed in use sooner. That would be a generous act as the cost of developing the vaccine would be high and selling patent rights is simple business. There is no such thing as a free lunch. It is unrealistic to think a private company can manufacture and distribute a vaccine for free, here in the USA or anywhere else. We can expect to pay for the vaccine as it is not free to produce, distribute, dispense, or administer. Free lunches do not exist. 3 -

I recently read a book about the search for a universal virus vaccine. One shot, and you will be protected for life from everything. But, wanna bet that then they will discover that the universal vaccine has killed off a dozen or so helpful viruses? 0 -
