About 4 hours of fun in the hot Texas sun starting about 10am; mowing day here. 0 -
I'm going over to the Red Cross at 2:00 PM to give a pint of blood. 0 -
Arthritis? 0 -
Up and flying early here on the farm....walked 3.2 miles, weights, push ups, exercise ball...a little prayer and meditation time and then burnt some trash.....Ham and eggs for breakfast while checking my auctions on Gunbroker....checked the talk boards and hoping my tractor is delivered by the mechanic today......might go fishing if the weather holds .. 0 -
Arthritis is the " gift" that keeps on giving . Every morning is a new adventure in " what hurts today that didn't when I went to bed?" Seems to run in my family bloodline. Waiting for all the virus issues to pass to schedule surgery to get my knees replaced . No elective surgerys being scheduled for the foreseeable future . 0 -
God Bless you.... 0 -
Wife and I went to see a lake home. Even had an inside in the ground pool. Didn't like it stove , water heater and some heat used propane. 0 -
Spasmcreek - check out the CDC Website. They publish State by State data updated daily. (Including County's in the State, once you click on that State.) ) That is how I have been monitoring our extremely rural County.
I agree about being safe. With my 2-3 Medical preexisting issues, I'd be a goner also.
Best to you Brother.

Pre-exiting medical conditions have kept me home also . The treatment for the arthritis is the furthest from home I have been in a month . Be glad when I can get out to shop for a truck . Before any one asks it will be another ford 0 -
Pulsarnc - I wish you the best my Brother.
Sorry you have to endure that.
Good thoughts and Prayers coming your way.

Was supposed to cut up a couple of downed trees but couldn't work up the ambition. Judy found a cheesecake recipe she wanted to try, so went to Kroger instead of getting my wood cut. Not many customers and most of them and the employees were masked. Meat counter and dairy back to normal levels. A couple brands of paper towels on the shelf. 30 or 40 different bulk packages of TP and some smaller packages on the shelves. First I've seen in that store in 2 months. Didn't need any but bought a small pack in case one of our friends runs short. So, not much accomplished but there is always tomorrow. Bob 0 -
Damm. Sorry you have to go through that, but hope it helps you. Best to you. 0 -

shoot man you should try 10 hours in a air seat bouncing up and down the roads , little over 3000 miles since last wed.

Redhawk , on the truck you can move around , shift position etc . During the infusion you stay fairly still as you have a rather large bore needle thingy in your arm . Too much moving around and you could “ blow” the iv . Then they got to stick you again ! And yes Montana the treatments help a bunch

Prayers for you pulsarnc, I have been getting knee injections for the past 4 years or so for my arthritis. I am not in the same place as you are, as I am able to have "localized" injections to help with the discomfort, even though, injections with large needles to get that thick fluid into the knee joint is more than uncomfortable, I only have to do it about every 6 months or so.. I really hope that you start to feel better..

Because of the remmicade treatments I am guessing that it is rheumatoid arthritis. My mother suffered with that for 50 years. Fortunately now they have treatments that are far in advance to what was available to her. Have you ever tried Humira? I know of some people that have had good results using it for arthritis. It is another biologic drug that can be taken by injection at home. 15 seconds for the shot and you can even sit in your own recliner while you do it. I use it myself for another inflammatory condition and have had no ill effects and it has helped a lot. It may not be right for your problems but I thought I should throw it out there. Bob Judy, rheumatoid it is . Mother had another form which was degenerative in-her shoulders and back . The remmicade is working well for me . I get treatments every 2 months . The knees are worn completely out . Bone on bone , no cartilage left . A lifetime on my feet have worn them out . The injection in the knees did little to help , surgery is the best option .

Fingers crossed that elective surgery starts back up soon so you can get it done. Bob 0 -
My Monday was better than that. It hit 77 degrees here. I had my first round of golf this year in shorts and golf shirt - no sweater or windbreaker. Our secondary water came on and my sprinkler system had only one bad head and no line breaks - a new record.
The governor announced Utah is ready for partial re-opening: restaurants, theaters and such can open (with restrictions) on Friday.
It may hit 85 tomorrow and I plan to make my first fishing trip of the year for crappie.
