I tried their  30-30 mono flex bullet one year which is the  GMX with the gummy tip for lever  guns it performed  well on the deer I shot with it just clipped the back of the shoulder on entrance  destroyed the heart and a large exit  on the other side. That is the only shot I have so far on live game with that bullet

I’ve used them on wild hog and they work great.

I always thought the GMX was Hornadys answer to the Barnes TTSX. Monolithic copper alloy.

We did some side x side comparisons with the Barnes TTSX and found in general, that the TTSX were easier to load develop and shot slightly smaller groups at 100, 200, 300 yards.
I use the Barnes 338 TTSX, 185 gr. in my 338 WSM at 3,000 fps. Sounds like a 'Thumper' when it hits hide. Woods-type rifle with a 22" barrel weighing about 7lbs with a mild power scope. :)

    Best.

did some head to head with the gmx and the old blue barnes xlc 180's. in my rifle the barnes is far superior in accuracy , 1/4" at a hundred yards, but both performed greon ballistic gel blocks. guess I'll hunt with the barnes until they run out and work on the load
