Colt Gurus Need help identifying a part

First post and I decided to reach out to the Gurus....can anyone identify this colt part??? It was in my granddads part box....Thanks!

Colt Agent hammer shroud. Don

It's a hammer shroud for a Detective Special (or similar) revolver.
To make it like an old Model 38 S&W. (the humpback .38)

Everyone is right, but I believe that the 1st model (unshielded ejector rod) frames were the same shape in the Detective Special, Cobra, and Agent. There's confusion about which is 1st model & which is 2nd, the shroud will fit all of them.
