Thanks for the info as I have never driven thru Atlanta in the day time. It scares me all the traffic and terrible roads.

I just passed thru Atlanta yesterday on I-75, North bound @8:00 a.m and South bound @ 4:30 P.M, I could almost drive it blindfolded, never seen it this empty.

Great, I will probably go thru sometime around 10:00 AM. Hopefully no traffic.

Forgot to mention the Ga. D.O.T has live action cameras showing traffic flow on the local interstates but I haven't accessed it or the web site in quite some time but a google search should help you find it.

During normal times, before this zombie attack, there was no really good time to drive through Atlanta, only worse times. Maybe you'll get lucky now and find traffic a little lighter.

I worked up town in Atlanta for 3 years and lived to tell about it. I was only hit twice and both times I was sitting still. Once at a gas station and once at a traffic light where a tractor trailer turned to short behind me and took the rear end off of my car. It just drug me around in a half circle slowly as it ripped the bumper and quarter panel off my car. No injuries.

In the mornings going to work on I-285 North on the East side the fast lane cars would line up like restrictor plate racing at Daytona or Talladega. There would be several of those trains of cars that would come through starting about about 6:00 AM with speeds in the high 80s and 90s and the speed limit was 55. If anyone got in one of those lanes they either get up to speed with them or they would get on their bumper trying to force them to the other lane sorta like a bump and run in NASCAR. I can't ever remember going to work in the morning and not seeing a car crashed and more times than not it was multiple cars.

I think Atlanta traffic will be way down due to the Corona panic.   I hope so because, in normal times I 75 is the worst road in the state.

I was there last week and the traffic is way down. 9:30 to 11 is a good time during normal business, but with the virus and most people staying home I think you are good about any time.  Good luck and stay safe during your travels.
