I consider people who like 9mm to be for the most part shooters.
I consider people who like 45 to be for the most part collectors.

All you really need is one little .40 Cal.

A 9mm/Glock is better for concealed carry, and a 45/1911 is better for open carry. NEITHER is safe to carry with a round in the chamber. -3 -
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yep Smitty. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Best of both World's.

Well here is few of the short and weak

A hole is a hole, I would choose the one you can make the most holes in the target in the shortest time. 0 -
9mm bullets will bounce off a windshield. .45 acp will penetrate an engine block. -3 -
OK, now you need a category for .327 Federal.

10 mm is better than both and by far, but only if it is an a 1911 frame, preferably a frame with horses. 0 -
You have to get that one going. Closest I can get to that is 32-20 or 32 S&WHe Dog said:OK, now you need a category for .327 Federal.

Those who don't know how to safely carry a Glock or 1911 with a round in the chamber probably shouldn't be carrying any firearm.....ever.

Real men shoot real guns! Colt 1911 45ACP is a real gun. The rest are for woman and children. 0 -
a .45 acp, and shoot only once 0 -
I have shot lots of 9mm and never found one worth buying. I would consider a Inglis slotted and tangent with the holster.
I do have 2 1911's. Somewhere in my collection I have a smooth bore 1911 barrel - it took a lot of ammo to wear it out.3 -
What kind of crap is that, Buttercup? They were both designed to be carried with a round in the tube.truthful said:A 9mm/Glock is better for concealed carry, and a 45/1911 is better for open carry. NEITHER is safe to carry with a round in the chamber.
Every day hundreds of thousands of police all over the world carry Glocks with a round in the chamber.
As stated above, if you can't do it safely then you probably shouldn't be allowed to carry at all.3 -
condition one, or carry none 0 -
Even though some may call it sacrilege, I have 1911 in 9mm that was just too good a price to pass up. 0 -
9mm is for those that can't shoot and need the extra capacity. Also the light recoil makes it easier to control when held sideways like they teach you in da hood. On the other hand guys who shoot 45s have a problem getting clothes to fit - their cojones are just to big.

The hell is this nonsense doing on a gun forum?3 -
If you're not rootin' an tootin' with a cocked and locked 454 casull 1911 glock revolver are you even a real gun owner? 0 -
Well two things are as true as dinosaurs are extinct !! Glocks are plastic, unsafe, and ugly as hell, and Kraut 9MM is hands down the best pistol round ever made up to date. 3 -
9cm is the best pistol round ever 3 -
I don't believe I'd want to try and fire a 9cm round in a either a handgun or a shoulder fired weapon.mohawk600 said:9cm is the best pistol round ever0 -
