Shoulder Holster Question.
How is this shoulder holster supposed to work without a "tie down" for the pistol? Won't it just flop around? I have come to own a similar type holster, and it looks to me like it needs a strap to hold the pistol down, but it is made without such. Mine does have a tie down for the magazine pouch though. TIA for input.

I agree. I don’t understand a shoulder holster without something to keep both sides immobile. 0 -
Ones I've seen have a slot cut on the backside of the mag pouch and holster for a belt strap, but they do make a version without it. 0 -
I am guessing the gun won't come out very easily 0 -
I add a strap to both sides. Usually stretchie. Holds my pants up, hahahaha. 0 -
The original Jackass works OK without a tie-down, but one is available as an option. 0 -
Back when I was in Iraq I bought a bunch of cheap black leather Turkish Shoulder Holsters. A Hadji shop was going out of business, I grabbed all the had. Real thin leather w/ 1 side unfinished. Using scissors, I turned a right handed horizontal shoulder holster into a left handed vertical should holster.
Few years ago, I decided to wear it while driving with my FN Hi Power and 2 spare mags. Figure I had a high stress job at the time but my neck and shoulders were really sore after wearing that thing for a couple hours.
That kind of killed shoulder holsters for me.
