Another Holster Question
Anybody have, or had, or used a belly band holster? How did/do you like it? My wife is looking at something like such. TIA for any input

I've tried them for me it was a waste of money my night complaint was here in Florida I thought they were too hot. But then I have drawer full of holsters that didn't work for me that someone else would think was the best thing since sliced bread

I use one regularly. It works fine for small, lightweight handguns like my LCR. Not so good for full size, heavier ones.
It is hot in the summer but that doesn't bother me too much. Mine will absorb sweat and transfer it to the firearm. For times that I'm not able to use a regular holster, it's perfect for me.0 -
It's in the box with the other holsters I didn't care for.
Yes it was hot and I sweat like a hostage already0 -
Thanks guys for the input. She would carry a J frame Smith in it. One reason I asked was I am concerned about the overheating thing. She is very "in tune" to that sort of thing. 0 -
If someone is built for it they are fine if you work indoors and are not overly active while wearing it. If you get one with shoulder straps, wear it over your t-shirt and under your outer layer, it helps if you are active. I'm too big around the middle for one as the pistol bulges out unless I'm wearing something lose and too big for me. Some ER doctors I know like to use them as they are slender built and the lose scrubs work well to hide the pistol. 0
