HBO has a free 7 day trial. I have been wanting to watch the series on Chernobyl so figured this was a good way to get it free. I highly recommend it, very appropriate timing. Well done series, and it gives insight into what China did with the virus as well.

  I was very familiar with the Chernobyl accident from previous research.

  The woman physicist in the show was pure fiction and for me that was a really bad way to alter the history.

  They didn't hide that at all, they specified she was a fictional character right from the start, but felt she was needed to fill in the blanks to make the story more cohesive. It was a docu-drama, not a straight documentary.
