My wonderful wife Judy does a lot of volunteer work. One of her volunteer places is at a local food bank in a small community here in Michigan. The families helped are vetted to insure that the resources go to the truly needy. This morning I was watching the news and specifically the actions of a major food bank in Pittsburg. Lines of vehicles 4 miles long. Most of them newer vehicles. Not a beater car/truck in sight and some of the trucks were in the 50 - 60 thousand dollar range. Food bank people asking for donations because of the demand.  Correct me if I am wrong. Did the feds not add $600 to every ones weekly unemployment checks? Aren't the feds giving most people $1200 and $500 apiece for dependent minors? How many of these food bank recipients are truly needy? I guess I shouldn't be surprised as I watched on the news last year where people would line up in vehicles nicer than I have to get free $4 cases of water during the Flint water crisis. Sorry for the rant but watching the greedy take advantage of charity at the expense of the truly needy just burns my butt. Bob

    Boils down to the old saying: Some people work for a living, some vote DEMOCRAT for a living.

    That does not surprise me.  They are cash needy, they spend beyond their means then they don’t have the cash for food.

    it is stupid to give a cash payment to those who do not  work or deserve one...just a vote buyer and mid class worker tax liability ....maybe  chinamart will sell a boatload of new big TV's.....after CV what will china give us next ????

    It's been going on since 1965 when LBJ started the "Great Society".   And will continue as long as dead people and illegals can vote and NO voter ID is required.

    To truly see greed at work , work in a disaster relief center after a major flood , hurricane etc. Watch the folks coming in claiming supplies that you know we not affected in any way . Will shake your faith in humanity .

    Yep

    Done DR work following several hurricanes in my days.

    But whats far worse that the fakes, is the politically charged media and the looters, Between the two, I would rather deal with the looters... at least they are honest about what they want.

    yes sir I have saw the same
    I think that maybe why I will never be wealthy with money
    but the Lord has blessed me in better ways
