    They are producing a television series that is based upon the hotel so prominent in the movies and revolving around those who frequent it - ie heavy hitters or pros...

    Much like the Bourne series that does not feature Jason Bourne - this Wick series will not feature John Wick...

    I think Mark bernarden is one of the writers / show runners...

    I don't think that they will get lovejoy either - but maybe some cameos or to set the stage - possibly the occasional pop in appearance...

    They have created what should be the foundation for a good franchise if they don't ruin it.

    I watched the first movie.  So so...  A little too much shootemup for my taste.  I tried, but failed, to make it thru the second.  
    To me, it’s just like those movies that have a 30 minute car chase.  Just too much speed / damage and not enough plot / good acting.

    The best thing about these movies is the work the actors have to put in.   Watch some of the training videos of Reeves and Berry training for the movie/movies.

    Keanu definately shows some good gun handling skill.

    Heard he is proficient in 3 gun.

    Got thru part of the first one, too much shoot 'em up for me. Amazing how he knows where people are at before they're even there.. I gave it a chance, but I'll stick with the 007 stuff..

    First movie was great. Went after the bad guys for taking his ride, killed his dog and left him for dead. Revenge. I get that. Showed us how their world kind a works (don't understand how the coins convert).

    Second one less so. I thought part of the first movie was all about getting back his ride. It turns out he was after what the car held and cared very little for the ride. Since he went back in he had to clear his books. Okay I get that. Brought back his peep from "The Matrix" movies (reminiscent of Adam Sandler movies where the SNL peeps hang out in some hotel). The free for all was cool and the whole "Highlander" bit about not conducting "business" on the hotel grounds silly but I'll play along. You'd think they got their own cleaning crew who cares, am I right? 

    Third one was kind a funny (to me). Making horses kick on command, having the nephew of "the Chairman" from "Iron Chef - America" playing a fanboy assassin and Halley Berry. The landscapes were good (almost "Planet Earth" good) and the bit of the assassins history was passable. I will be shocked if this goes on past 5 movies. I just hope they don't make this in to "Fast And Furious" franchise (what are they up to 10?). And here I am that can't get "King Conan". Arnold can't live forever ya know?
