    I don't fault them. If I lived in the NYC area, etc. and had the means, I'd take my family, and get the hell out of there also.

    I have been looking and watching the Campground, expecting this to happen. It is.

    Our road is extremely off the beaten track. Grocery store about 5-7 miles away, from where the road connects to the highway. A good spot. No fault levied here. Only smart. I applaud their discretion, and foresight. (Not extremely thrilled with out of towners bringing in their germs/contamination though.)

    I have been anticipating it, and have been proven correct.

    Leads in to what I have been thinking all along, would happen.

    "Rural campgrounds" are open.  City Parks are closed.

    Evidently there is an issue with a bunch of virus now - but not an excess of logic.

    I do find fault with them moving in on us. they use or resources, food, TP, and most importantly our hospital beds if they get sick. Some have already tested positive and isolate here to sit it out. They need to stay where the came from.
    We have "visitors" in the area from NY and Hellifornia as we post on this forum.

    Sorry to hear about them moving in on you.  I was wondering where they were all going.  There are lots of folks who are now on the road 7/365 and there are others who just move from state park to state park after they reach the limit of their allowed stay.  They like the state parks around here even though they don't have the fancy amenities, mostly because they are cheaper than the private parks.  State parks for at least three states around here are all "closed" and the DNR folks made all the semi-permanent RVers leave.

    As in my previous post. They're also coming into their (permanent) trailer sites that they lease year after year for summer use.  
    We're in a resort lake area & I can't blame people for coming to their vacation homes to weather this out. However, year-round locals are leery about what they're bringing with them.

    Unfortunately for some of these folks. There swapping the frying pan for the fire. One of our rural counties in northeastern Arizona. Has had a Corona outbreak, on one of it's large Indian reservations. Over 400 diagnosis's, and 7 deaths so far. It doesn't sound like a lot, compared to N.Y.  But for a very rural, isolated area. It's a nightmare. 

    There a lot of campgrounds and trailer parks. That fill up in the summer. Generally with the Phoenix folks, who are trying to escape from the heat. Them coming up  now, to escape the virus. Is mistake there likely to regret,  to say the least.

    RVs need to roll periodically to “keep the juices flowing” and the tires from developing a flat spot (at least that’s what I’m told).  So - we need to shop for perishables.  We drove the RV last night and parked in a bowling alley’s lot near the local Walmart.  Other than the semis on the adjacent highway it was a pretty quiet night.  And the pup got to run all over.

    That's the real "entitlement attitude".  "I have money so I don't need to follow the rules put in place to prevent spreading the disease".

    If that's how you view it.  I see it as people getting more isolated and decreasing the risk they become a vector for the disease.  The more crowded and congested your living conditions the more chance of exposure and becoming a carrier.   The less crowded the less chance.

    Yes, I believe the current terms are "self-isolation" and "social distancing".

    Unfortunately chollargardens this sheeit is reality for us here locally.

    2.5 miles away from me, but as Butchedog alluded to, it takes local resources away from the rest of us.

    Would be really pissed to hear a "positive," diagnosis showed up here to ride it out. As would all the locals. Doubt we would hear about it, in any case.
