Yep.


Next step, identify fraud charges.

$8.10 in Missouri

$1124.00 in Illinois


aaaand this one, which I had to fess up to as definitely not fraud.😀


Where I had to refresh some reloading supplies.

    Cat is out of the bag. Lol
    don't expect anything to come of the identity fraud investigation tho. Those amounts are just a write-off for Wells Fargo.

    Just went thru same thing w/ VISA- 3 grand for a "travel agency" in another state.  Credit card companies deny the charges.  They send you paperwork to complete to confirm that you did not make that purchase.

    Last year I bought something firearm related from a Canadian company. One of the employees thought it would be cool to steal the American's card number and run it up. My bank caught it, asked me what I wanted to do and I said prosecute. Six months later I got a certified letter from the Canadian LEO in charge of the case stating that the thief got two years in prison and a $5000.00 CA fine. The bank never lost anything and the suppliers recovered all of the purchases. Justice served! :)

    Telephone scammers, credit card fraud perps and ID thieves should be tried and if found guilty executed by the end of the week.

    My debit card was hacked last fall. They spent about $30 total on two purchases. The security manager at my credit union said they were just making SURE it would work before hitting the big time. The charges were returned to my account, and I got a new card that day. I check my accounts daily, and only keep enough in my checking acct to cover our charges plus a little cushion. I can xfer from savings to checking on my phone any time.

     I'm going to side with technology.
     My card company denied a charge at an out of state women's boutique because it didn't match my usual purchasing pattern. On the flip side. Had a young woman in Council Grove check washing. She hit me for nearly $500 and it took over a week to get that mess straightened out.
