Did he take the pig with him?

He usually takes a cooler full of frozen meat and sausage we make home with him but with so many unknowns he decided to leave the cooler behind.  As it turned out his bag was the only one on the carousel.

Good looking hog. A little dry ice and you could ship that cooler filled with chops and sausage to him to tide him over in case he has a pork craving. Bob

If the world returns to normal I plan to visit during the summer. I'll bring it then.

Was curious about traveling through multiple States, "non-essential travel."

I was hoping to get Ricci, a bunch of Firearms to divest for me. Figured, I could not get there.

Maybe that is not the case?

    Where abouts in NJ???

Perhaps your father is familiar with my local gun club or had the chance to frequent the gunshop I grew up in...

And +1 on the pig / hog / mobile bacon container...

My last hunt happened to be in Texas - where the infestation of boars are like a plague of locusts and they can destroy an ecosystem in the blink of an eye...

I took my personal tusker in relatively close quarters with a uberti baby rolling block carbine chambered in .357 magnum...

Later during a proactive drive and elimination hunt I expended 40 rounds of .35 Remington core lokt - which proved rather effective if somewhat destructive..

South Jersey about 15 miles east of Philadelphia.  He is a member of USANA gun club.  We do have plenty of hogs here.  No rules hunting.  You don't even need a hunting license.  No limit, no season, day or night is OK.  He uses a 270 and I use a 6.5-06.

84, I think you will be fine to travel through NC. Get Ricci to send you a letter stating your business in NC.
Essential as I see it, sell or starve out, even worse Buddy goes hungry.

Thats great. Would like to do that myself. Did shoot one back in 1962 in ND. Escaped from a farmer and we hunted it.
This revived the memory. Thanks for posting that.
