I was just really UGLY to someone via email and I feel horrible for it.....UGH!

Some guy has been blowing up my email over a transaction.   He's at his house in a different state and wants his item shipped to him before he leaves that area.    I have sent out "general" emails to everyone because I didn't really have a way to deal with a bunch of messages.    

I had to stand out in my yard to get cell phone service and check on things.   If I tried to do much it would cut out and I'd lose all the work I did.     So, a bit of copy and paste was all I could do to update everyone..

One of the messages that this guy sent said "DO NOT SEND ME ANOTHER MESSAGE ABOUT THE STORM."   

So, being as tired as I am right now.....nasty feeling.....out of my routine.....and just COVERED UP with work to deal with I went a bit bonkers.    Now I get to feel like a total jerk the rest of this night.

Who does that though????     Fifteen tornadoes came through Easter Sunday.    It was a lot is weak ones, but still.....it messed up a large enough area that a LOT was affected.    We're one of the lucky ones that only went without power for four days.

    We are all feeling it. Him,you,me,us.  And I suspect there will be more outburst before its over.  Don't beat yourself up to bad over it.  Send him a short apology,with a short answer to how you will proceed with his order, nothing long with all kind of reasons just to the point.  And get some rest.

    I sent him a long, wordy, apology with lots of excuses......because I can't stop myself.....like now.....I need to just start drinking, but there are still 40 emails to deal with here.      I want a hot shower sooooo bad.

    It sure is interesting times.  You can only do the best can, some people can't understand that there are things beyond control.  I'm sure things will improve at some point.  I try and be thankful for the simple stuff I have like a warm place to stay, food and clean water during the trying times.

    Were I in your shoes, given all you've just been through, I probably would have left special instructions for the receiving FFL to forcibly insert the firearm in question into the buyers fifth point of contact.

    Yep, if the guy's being a PITA he needs to be treated rudely. I have no time for some clown that's a PITA.

    Many E-mails, in hind-sight, can look totally different than we intended. Just part of this technology we need to learn to live with.
