What Is It? Seeking Identity Of Strange Magazine

It looks like it should fit in an AK style rifle, but it will not.
It won't fit in a Mini-14.
It looks kinda like a Mini-30 magazine, but the hole in the front is in the wrong place.
So, what is it?

I thought it would fit an 7.62x39 AR, but the mag release is not on the side. 0 -
just a guess it looks like a aftermarket mag for a sks conversion set up to use a 30 round mag

It's not a direct replacement SKS mag. That mag has a "duckbill" on the front end.
I have seen SKS rifles re-fitted to take a detachable mag, but they all used actual AK mags.

I still think a sks the aftermarket "kits" had special mags and a special part you had to drill the receiver to install to catch the front of the magazine where the is
there nothing close to a AK mag other than just a glance in size or the metal SKS mag conversions that had a nose on the mag they sold fairly cheap and well they were

David, I think DR is correct here. I have seen SKSs that accept AK mags and a different MFG makes a set-up that will take your mag.
