Checked my account this morning.  The federal $1,200 was deposited last night.  Still waiting on my first unemployment deposit.

    I'll be darned!  Just checked and my wife and I got our $2400.   
    Not sure what to do with it, but I'm sure she'll think of something...

    That is a big question I have yet to answer.  Is the Federal Income received going to be taxed for 2020?

    Same here but it was $2400 and after a month still no unemployment money.

     congrats still looking for ours as of today nothing 
      however     I   was just thinking of you and your waiting on a check  and had told my wife it may take some time for her to get unemployment. 
     my wife signed up on April 11th  for  unemployment first check was deposited today in our account  a whole 4 days  I was shocked . it was pending in our account on the 13th 
    but some of her  coworkers are still waiting  .. per my wife there is  four  processing centers in Ohio her's went to one  I do not  recall which one she said but it is  the one not swamped by the larger population areas . as her buddies are  and you it seems 
          the company she works  for had a  claim number ( like a mass layoff with all the peoples info ) that was transferred by computer to the state  using the number  they provided to the employees  it had all the info needed to file .   so  they  did not have to fill out  a lot of the paper work  I think it may have helped also .

      I just read a headline that POS governor of Kalifornia is going to give 225 million to the illegals for the stimulus 
     there up to there eyeballs in debt have more problems than possibly be  listed now that  slimy POS giving away taxpayers money I guess I should  not be surprised at a state releasing prisoners by the thousands    and closing gun stores and crapping on the american citizens  rights while  kissing the azz of there  new voting base

    Many locals are reporting the online banking systems have crashed as a result of the extra traffic from people trying to check their accounts and make online transactions.  I tried to log into my account and the system is down.  As of last night, the IRS payment had cleared my bank and was showing in my account.  Family members are reporting that they have received their stimulus payments as well.

    My " Ohio Unemployment Service Center" is Youngstown, that might clue you into some of the issues.  I too got the COVID 19 mass layoff paperwork and filed the claim as such.  I get emails from the Ohio Department of Unemployment explaining they know they are as screwed up as a soup sandwich and are working on it.  The System shows three weeks of payments pending for me but I doubt I will see any of it in the near future.  It seems odd they can send mass emails out but not payments.  I talked to my son, a Software Department Manager for Oracle, he said a lot of companies and government entities are having issues with the cloud software due to changes needed to meet demand and adjust for new laws.  It takes time to go over 10,000 lines of code.
