Sellers - List Now or Wait?
Sellers - Has final auction sale prices been lower since the Coronavirus Pandemic? I am wondering if I should list now or wait. I do mostly collectibles and estates. No new guns.

Well, I have noticed that the last two items I sold in the last two weeks were both non payers and NR rated and a one buyer rated. Maybe a lot of kids not in school or I draw flies like a dungpile in July. Just my opinion and I have no facts but it seems like a buyers market now. 0 -
There are a flood of NR bidders. I haven't sold anything in a couple of years and decided to list one gun and some AR parts. Had a buy now on the gun which a NR used in the middle of the auction and never heard from him. Just screwed it up for others. I have relisted it (with no buy now) and already have several NR bidders and received two emails today from people wanting to buy it now. The AR parts have several NR bidders also and is currently being won by an NR. 0 -
From what I have seen the collectable type guns are off in price. The ones that are selling are the tupperware guns. 0 -
My stuff has been doing well. AR15's are still dead although I have seen sellers adding $200.00 or more to the same guns they have had for sale for a while in hopes ,I assume, that new buyers will jump on them. Like I said unless you have something special like old Colts then AR15's are best kept for later in my humble opinion. There are always people with funds looking for good quality older guns, again in my opinion. Good luck. 0 -

It seems that defensive type guns are selling well. On the collector side, it appears to be a good time to be adding to your collection if you have the cash available. 0 -
The problem is ........... the state governor is the one person who determines whether or not gun shops in his/her state can stay open during the pandemic. And, that could change at any time. So, neither buyers nor sellers want to get hung up in a transaction that might not be completed for several months. My guess is that there will be a big spike in activity within the next 2-4 weeks, once it looks like business is returning to normal. 0
