DJT is ill-prepared,,,,,,
to answer one, simple question at his daily "Coronavirus White House Task Force" briefing.
The reason he's unprepared is because it's a question that, in our justified cynicism, no one believes will ever be asked by the snakes and weasels in the press corps.
The question is; "Mr President, what can we in the media do to help ease the suffering of the American people in this time of historic tragedy and economic crisis?"
If I were advising Mr. Trump, I would help him prepare an appropriate response to this question.
Something like;
"Well, food banks all over the country are finding themselves unable to meet rising demand and are literally turning families away empty handed. Ask your listeners/watchers/readers to donate whatever amount they can, no matter how small."
"Our blood banks are running critically short of supply while demand steadily rises, ask your listeners/watchers/readers to donate blood tomorrow. Set the example and do it yourselves."
"There are at least 20 companies offering free food, clothing, lodging and other things to our front-line healthcare professionals. Identify them to your listeners/watchers/readers and ask them to patronize those companies whenever possible."
"Tell your listeners/watchers/readers that if they bank, or have a credit card with Citibank, Wells Fargo, or Bank of America to demand these institutions quit slow walking the federally guaranteed loans to small businesses, or you'll move your accounts elsewhere."
The responses, to this unasked question, could be numerous, and don't need to be political in nature!
If I were advising The President, I would have him open the briefing with his usual numbers and statistics, then before taking ANY questions from the media mob, say "I have a question I know you've all been dying to ask, so I'll ask it for you, and give you my answer. What can you in the media do to help ease the suffering of the American people in this time of historic tragedy and economic crisis? "
List off 4 or 5 responses like the above, direct all further questions to his medical team, hand the mic to Dr. Birx and leave the stage.
