we didnt have much of a chance to hunt last fall and didnt harvest a single deer.... we had such a battle getting crops harvested  we were still harvesting well into Dec  plus the fact there was so much unharvested crop there were very few deer even shot ....there's still some of last years crops still out in the field around here....i did get all mine harvested though....the last half section of soybeans i harvested the ground had snow on it had to wait till temps were in single digits to be able to harvest them my  kids running the grain cart would mention how much snow was coming out the back of the combine.....lol   it was the damnedest year ive ever seen  alot of last years problems carried right into this year now this virus deal and our crops arent worth much.....i just want to plant it all back to grass and just be a cowboy.

While hunting pheasants in mid December we noticed a lot more crops still standing in the fields around Gann Valley. Do any riding this year?

I feel your pain, after many years of farming, with livestock.  Lots of hours, seemed like we were either fighting mud, or frozen ground, with a couple weeks of good conditions every year.  The price of grain stays low and the price of equipment soars, it is a crazy life!
