I'm seeing more peeps on social media posting that they have reached the point where they are tired of the government (local, state, federal) telling them what they can and can't do. Many are posting that at their local level they aren't seeing the doomsday scenarios predicted, nothing different than what they normally see with the yearly flu and businesses possibly never opening again. They are fed up, and are not going to follow the guidelines/orders.
I see the winds changing direction and a revolt coming. Not big at first, but as more people step out and step up without the catastrophic results that were predicted, I can see the bans lifted by the people and not the government. Once a ball starts to roll down hill its hard to stop it.

Well, when a country gets destroyed over some mole hill whipped into a mountain range by some media frenzy quoting of some alleged government "experts", well people got their limits of that crap............ 3 -
Laws are only effective if people choose to obey them, which mostly revolves around whether or not state and local governments decide to enforce the laws they write. I see signs along freeways warning of fines up to $2000 for littering, but there is no lack of trash along the roadways. If the police and highway patrol starting handing out thousands of $2000 tickets and the courts required those found guilty actually pay those fines, our highways would look like the streets and roads in Singapore: spotless.
Starting today, my county requires that (with few exceptions) everyone in a public place must wear some sort of face covering- and the regulations describe in detail how to wear it. The fine for failing to wear a face covering is $500 or imprisonment in the county jail for 60 days, or both. I didn't go out today to see how many people have complied, but I guarantee that if they start locking violators up for two months, people will be wrapped up like mummies.0 -
my wife watches more news and rumor mill than I but tells me people are getting fed up with the stay home cant do this or that

well as someone that's running up and down the interstates system 5 days a week going thru Chicago and the Twin Cities all the time , I can tell you that traffic is STARTING to get back to a some what normal level, yesterday as I was going across I494 at about 5pm there was actually a little yellow showing on the gps traffic , first time thats happened in several weeks 0 -

Well the difference between right and wrong is subjective to us all. Yet if your old and weak I bet them apperciate what governments are doing.Just don't go live in a nursing home.It could be a death sentence. In the old days you live to be what 75 at the most. Three score and ten is old then

There have been times of real sacrifice in this country. People putting their lives on the line, social injustice, rationing and other true sacrifices. Now most of the whining comes from people that are bored. Tired of playing their xbox, cooking for themselves, temporarily can't play or watch sports or maybe get laid. I think a lot of our ancestors really would consider this a generation of snowflakes. Bob 6 -

Our recent ancestors went out everyday facing the possibility of measles, diphtheria, and polio.
A generation before them went out everyday facing the possibility of scarlet fever and typhoid fever.
A few generations before that went out everyday facing the possibility of smallpox.
