Prayers for SIL please
Shilah is 65, her body is racked with arthritis and she suffered a stroke on Thursday. By the grace of God, she was at the grocery store during senior shopping hours, instead of home alone, which would be the norm. She got dizzy and started vomiting. In this environment, most would run screaming for the nearest exit if they witnessed this. But 1 woman (an angel?) came to her aid, got her off her feet and called 911. Her left side and speech are impaired. Some slight movement of her left leg, but can't move her left arm at all. She's allowed no visitors (of course) is scared and in incredible pain. The hemorrhaging on her brain is still severe, but they won't consider surgery at this point because of her very high blood pressure. We've often been amazed at how she gets around and adapts to accomplish things even with grotesquely contorted feet and hands. The ER docs and ICU personnel all made comments like "I don't know how that little thing even STANDS on those crippled feet, much less WALK around on them!"
She's always been FIERCELY independent, but needs your prayers on this special day, if you would please.
Thanx
