Rock Island Armory 1911 ?
are Rock Island Armory 1911's descent quality I'm looking at one in 10mm
other than that its been awhile since Ive been on here.....I'm doing good awaiting for spring planting to be underway.

I bought one here on GB, I put a bid on a Rock Island thinking I would never get a 1911 in a 10mm at that price. I was upset when my bid got it with $70 to spare on my bid. I figured I had missed something in the pictures. When it came in I was surprised at how nice it looked. It looked better than the pictures. Then I took it out and put several mags through it. It shot a nice tight group shooting slow, shot to point of aim and shot angle of center mass rapid fire. I think enough of it that I promoted it to my bed dresser drawer piece. It is in the drawer cocked and locked. I like it so much I keep looking for another just like it or in a 45ACP but I can't find another one with in $200 + bucks of what I paid for mine. My opinion, it is a whole lot of gun for what I paid for it. I'm real happy. Wish I could say that about every one of my gun purchases over the years! 3 -

I have a Rock Island 1911 MS in 45 acp. It shoots great with everything I've put through it.

I've had mixed experience, with the R.I. pistols. The double stack, TCM commander never fed. So I just use the 9 mm barrel in it. The single stack 22 LR, works OK. The Government size TCM double stack, has periodic extraction problems with factory ammo. To get consistent extraction. I put a drop of REM oil on the top cartridge of each loaded magazine. 0 -
rufe-snow I had the feeding extraction problem with my TCM so I sent it back after talking to them, they sent me a whole new gun that works fine. 0 -
Spas. I would like to buy one in 22 wmr. How well do you like yours, and does it run and group OK?Thanks

like it better than the AMT and the RIA holds 15 ...the AMT rear sights seem stuck up easy to bump around and the RIA does not feel that way.....hefty little shooter ...any years ago i used to carry a Grendel 22 mag in the car , a 30 shot, that functioned great ..but had a weak firing pin prone to break ...now someone makes a titanium pin either in florida or texas (can't find mynotes) that solves that problem but the Grendel is now insanely expensive for a poly pistol 0 -

I own a Delta Elite, I have put all types of stuff thru mine to include cast bullets and have never had a failure.0 -

Won an auction for this .45 about a month ago. Put about 400 rds through it first day I had it, not one malfunction. I picked this model because it has the nice sights. ( M1911 A1 45 Acp FS-Match 5" Barrel) 51434

I have an older FS Tactical in .45, it's run fine. I wouldn't hesitate to grab it for self defense. At $425 it was a deal. I wouldn't let it go for that. 0 -
The PMR 30s are reliable, but are finicky as far as what ammo they like. Call or email Keltec as to whats best. HDY 30 vmax has worked flawless for me and WW 40gr JHP. WW Dynapoint had FTFs.mrmike08075 said:How does the Kel Tech PMR30 stack up by comparison...

IMHO, the PMR 30 makes an interesting carry gun. Very light and 30 shots.0
