96.1 and sinuses
Annual tornado and mildew season always leads to allergies. (Pollen bloom)
So, I fight the good fight. Felt a little chilly. Took my temp to make sure I didn't have a fever indicating sinus infection, lo and behold my temp is 96.1.

LOL Both Judy and I run lower than normal temps. Mine usually is around 97.6. The nurse usually looks at me with a raised eyebrow when she takes my temp during doctors appointments. One told me I was breathing and had a blood pressure so she thought I was still alive. This is sinus and allergy season and the only thing that helps me is pseudoephidrine. The damn meth freaks have made it so that I have to show my drivers license for a purchase and can't buy more than 15 days worth at one time. Another way that society punishes the honest people for the misdeeds of a few. Oh well it will only be 6 months or so before the first hard frost.😞 Bob 0 -
I have the same problem with seasonal allergies. Today my eyes ran water all day and my nose was a fast dripping faucet of mucus .

good point about punishing the honest...i used to buy large cans of ether starting fluid by the case...best small parts cleaner going ...then that was stopped and the cans got smaller...local dealers knew me so it wasn't the problem it would have been if i had to go out of county.....and other issues like that 0 -
I also run a normal temperature of 97.6-97.8. I don't go to the doctor often, but it seems I always get a weird look. I even got called an idiot once, when I told a doctor that quite a few people have normal temps below 98. That was the last time I visited that Acehole!

LOL Both Judy and I run lower than normal temps. Mine usually is around 97.6.I also run a normal temperature of 97.6-97.8.I've had to pass through several C-19 checkpoints in the last couple of months with the results always being the same, 97.1 each time.
I am wondering though if what we're seeing are the changes in the methods of taking our temperatures?

Yep. I normally run 97.6 and was aware lower is the new normal but 96.1 is low even for me. My family doc is aware of low normal so anything over 99 is a fever for me.

When I went to physical therapy last week, they came at me with one of those infra red thermometers. My temp read 97.4. I got a laugh when I said I was glad that thing wasn't a RECTAL thermometer.

Unless you have a good old fashion Mercury Thermometer,then you can't get tenths of degrees on cheap electronic ones being sold now.serf
