Allstate is giving me 15% off on my car insurance for April and May along with free identity theft protection for the rest of the year.    Not sure how they are going to repay me, as I always pay 6 months in advance.

    Thanks for that heads-up sir!

I just called and chatted with a Progressive agent. She told me I had to do nothing and should receive a discount at the end of the next 2 months. It's 20%, like you mentioned.

    From Progressive's site

"There’s nothing you need to do. We’ll automatically calculate your credit at the end of each month, and then you’ll see it reflected in your account within a few weeks. If you have a balance on your policy, we’ll apply the credit directly to your remaining balance. And if you’re already paid in full, we’ll return the money to the payment account we have on file—so please make sure your payment details are up to date."

USAA tells me they'll rebate 30% for two months, or however long this lasts. Best company out there.

I received a rebate notice from Farmers Insurance Group.  I think it said $25.00 but didn't notice if it was for each car, each month, account credit or refund.  Didn't seem like enough to get excited about.

Every few years I check with various auto insurance firms on rates.
Two vehicles, motorcycle and camper.  Doesn't matter if driven 1 mile or 68,000 miles a year .... still same rate just that some are less expensive per year than others.

I have done the same but found so far that all companies I have switched to start you out cheaper, then raise premiums every 6 months and don't stop raising!

I got an E mail from AAA. Said 20% for middle of March to middle of May. Made it sound like out of the goodness of their heart. No mention that it was required by the DPRK. I wonder if I will get anything on my motorcycle insurance? 20% of 1/6th of $76, WOW!
