kitchen stove gave out last night.........
had friend of family come by this morning to look at it, about 6-8 years ago he soldered a burn out on the circuit board and told us then it may last month or few years as circuit board was about $250. figured it finally gave out as everything worked but the oven. turns out the ignitor was working just not getting enough amps through it to engage the gas valve, $25 later new ignitor and hopefully quite a few more years out of her. usually my luck is things aren't repairable only replaceable didn't really want to have to get new stove, though pelosi is sending me money for one!

That right there is why I buy as much warranty as the store will sell me. There's so much electronics in appliances these days any part of it can go at any time. 0 -
