Another of my childhood idols,  Al Kaline passed away today.  He was baseball personified unlike today's crop of overpaid POS ballplayers. 22 years with the tigers and 18 of those he was an all star. Elected to hall of fame first time he was nominated. No scandels, no whining, no demands for a gazillion dollars salary, just a love for the game and one of the best players ever. R.I.P. Mr. Tiger, I bet it's summer all the time where you are now. Bob
