45 acre island off of Bronx New York has been a potters field since 1869 with over a million bodies of unclaimed  remains...now with the CV, bodies are only held 14 days then buried in plain wood boxes next to each other  in long trenches.... seems efficient but without the body parts usage like the chinese

  If someone's body hasn't been claimed in 14 days I'd say they weren't loved very much anyway.
