Hate to break it to you but it's been Spring since March 20th. Wouldn't thunderstorms fall into the 'April showers bring May flowers' category? While we are getting snow here in Michigan, I've seen it snow as late as June. Tain't no big thing. Or maybe it's the end of days 0 -

Yeah, Iceracerx - I have also seen and know that snow/below freezing temps. happen well in to April here.
Like I stated, I knew Winter was not done here. Woodstove prepped. Split a little more cured larger logs. Good to go.

Golfed on a 60°+ sunny day yesterday. Shorts and shirtsleeves. Wreaked havoc with my game. Have been playing in the cold for the past month. Seems my irons go 10 - 15 yards longer when my balls aren't frozen. 3 -

I rolled (ok staggered) out of bed at 6:30 this morning. 38 degrees and cloudy. By 11 it was sunny and 48 and by 12:30 it was raining. At 2 it was spitting small hail and dropped to 45. At 3 it was bigger hail mixed with snow and 43 degrees with a lot of wind. Now at 5:15 it is calm and bright sunshine but still 43 degrees. If you don't like the weather just wait and it will change and today we got just about all the springtime options in less than 12 hourss. Bob 0 -
I have no problem with cooler/cold weather, provided I have some wood on hand to get a fire in the woodstove going.

Pretty crazy Winter/Spring.
Last night crazy weather, heavy rain/hail Lightning/Thunder, was a revelation. Heavy wind from last night, to just now indicates Weather coming through.
I like burning a fire in the woodstove. No worries.

Don, I'm always impressed with your garden. Very pretty. I just got my garden tilled today. It was 88 degrees here in NE Kansas yesterday and it's supposed to be in the 20's and possible snow Monday. 0 -
