Here is mine. Blackjack Buffer, and increased recoil spring. Bushnell M&P Trothy red/green T -dot, 400 lumen light/strobe.

    One thing I wish someone would figure out is a good tape switch without all the extra coily/dangly wires to get hung up on stuff. 
    Surely there must be a way to engineer a switch with an adjustable cable?

    Sportsmansguide Guide Gear. I have a couple of them. They work well and only run about $45 or so if memory serves me right. (Cree bulb.) Come with a barrel mount.

    Great little carbines, although I don't care for the sloppy, clumsy trigger much. Below is mine. Like new, but been 10+ years since I have shot it (Man, where does the time go??!!!). Probably need to add a fresh buffer before I try again. Every now and then, I flirt with the idea of letting it go, as I always seem to reach for something different in the cabinet.......but then it's so pretty that I never quite get there.

    Ken you need a bigger gun. You hardly have any room for a bayonet. laser, bipod or bottle opener :) 
    What you do have is a pretty handy and good looking outfit though. Bob

    Yeah. It is a very handy little rig to grab up. Very reliable.

    Owned one in 45 ACP, years back. Before their price(s) skyrocketed. Crappy trigger, and would double with aluminum case Blazer ammo. It went quick on the auction,. Happy to be rid of it.

    Very surprised, that they have morphed. Into a big buck, must have item. Specially the 9 mm's. The 45's are at least, one of the few pistol caliber carbines available in that caliber. 

    Haven't had any experience with 45 ACP, High Point carbines. But have shot a couple in 40 S & W. IMHO, you would be way better off with a High Point, in 45 ACP. Than a 45 ACP Marlin that would set you back, 2 ro 3 times the price of the High Point.

    Drobs - I was hoping you would reply/comment to this thread. I read your thread about buying your Family the Ruger PCC9 Carbine. My comment was that I would add a light.

    My post was prompted by yours, and attempted to show my 9mm Carbine set up with a light.

    Essential to even experienced shooters in a dark situation, unless you plan on shooting blind.

    I want a mount for the bottom of my hand guard that allows me to mount my 22 pistol and use it as a vertical handle. 
    It needs built-in adjustment to align POA/POI.

    I have the .45acp version,It a classic and still shoots fine..I carry a H&K USP .45 and just always thought they went together as a pair...Nice little Marlins!
